Today, on 25th of May, Cryptoname has been announced.

What is Cryptoname?
Cryptoname is a service that allows users to pick an OpenAlias address they would like to use and attach their Monero or BTC address to it. Users can register aliases on specified domains: ibankmyself.com, nobank.in, coindojo.com, nobool.com. DNSSec (Domain Name System Security Extensioins suite) is enabled to all of the domains.

Currently, only Bitcoin and Monero are supported, but according to the developers more cryptocurrencies will be added in the future.

How do e-mail addresses become payment addresses?
Payment addresses are an implementation of the OpenAlias standard, which leverages the existing internet domain name infrastructure. When someone sends funds to a payment address, the wallet software has to lookup the corresponding crypto network address.
